Scotland Excel publishes a Prior Information Notice for the renewal framework for engineering and technical consultancy services.

Scotland Excel have published a Prior Information Notice on public Contracts Scotland for a proposed renewal framework for their engineering and technical consultancy services framework. Scotland Excel

The purpose of this notice is to enable interested parties to engage with Scotland Excel to discuss the opportunity, marketplace and options regarding the structure of the proposed procurement.

These services will primarily relate to civil engineering and other associated discipline which may include Structural engineering Traffic and Transportation Environmental Land surveying, Drainage and Flooding Geo environmental and Geotechnical Costal and Maritime Structures Project Management Master planning. However, please note that at this stage the scope of the framework and its lot(s) are subject to change. Further details on disciplines is available in the published Prior Information Notice

This stage is the opportunity for interested parties to consult with Scotland Excel in relation to the upcoming framework. Scotland Excel endeavours to implement the most effective framework for both purchasers and suppliers and therefore invites suppliers to provide input in relation to the potential scope and structure of the renewal framework. Due to the size of the market base, the consultation will be conducted via the following survey:

All interested parties are encouraged to complete the market consultation survey and to provide as much relevant detail as possible as this is the core opportunity to feed into framework development. Scotland Excel may invite a representative group of respondents to conduct teleconference meetings.

Scotland Excel envisages publishing a future tender opportunity on behalf of all 32 local authorities in Scotland, together with any Integration Authority, or other body, established pursuant to the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014.
